Leon Warburton is the Executive Chairman of Baker Partners Holdings Ltd and the portfolio manager of the Baker Partners Founders Fund and the Baker Partners Master Fund.
Previously, Mr Warburton was employed at Patersons Securities Limited where he specialised in global resources equities. His primary focus was advising on and facilitating equity and debt capital raisings. With a well-established background in global equity, commodity, currency and debt markets, Mr Warburton later established hedge fund firm Warburton Investment Management. In three years and nine months, a $1.00 investment with Warburton Investment Management resulted in a return of $2.41. The intellectual property developed at Warburton Investment Management was later spun-out into Baker Partners to facilitate an IPO of the investment management company.
Mr Warburton is an alumnus of Scotch College and was the recipient of the Gordon Gooch academic scholarship. He has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Ross Gearing is an Executive Director of Baker Partners Holdings Ltd.
He began his career with at PSG Konsult before working as a business consultant for firms in South Africa, Botswana and the United Kingdom and then later as an offshore investment bank analyst for Investec in Mauritius. Mr Gearing is a keen endurance athlete and has competed in one of the worlds hardest Ironman-distance triathlons in Switzerland traversing 5,500m in altitude through the race. He has also competed locally in ultramarathons and relishes the challenge of preparing and racing in these mentally challenging events.
Mr Gearing is an alumnus of Radley College and St. Andrews College. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities from Stellenbosch University and a Masters of Science in Marketing with Distinction from Oxford Brookes University.
Natalie André is the Company Secretary of Baker Partners Holdings Ltd.
Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a senior project manager where she was responsible for growing company turnover.
Ms André is an alumna of Presbyterian Ladies' College. She has a Bachelor of Arts from Curtin University, a Diploma of Project Management from the Central Institute of Technology and a Certificate in Finance with Honours from Yale University.
Michael Richardson is a Non-Executive Director of Baker Partners Holdings Ltd.
He is currently the Managing Director of RTRL Consulting, a company concentrated on retail negotiation, site sourcing, brand consulting, national rollouts and strategic planning in the food and beverage sector. He has previous experience in executive roles at Emrich Industries, Elleo Group, ISPT and Mirvac.
Mr Richardson is an alumnus of Scotch College. He is a Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
